Return & Refund Policy

1. Non-Refundable Nature of Legal Services

All payments made on the FileCaveat platform are for professional legal services provided by FileCaveat. Legal services are inherently professional in nature and cannot be "returned." Once payment is made and the drafting, review, or filing process has commenced, no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

This policy applies equally to both service plans:

• DIY Plan (₹2,000) — Non-refundable once payment is confirmed and document access is granted.
• Full Service Plan (₹5,000) — Non-refundable once payment is confirmed, regardless of the stage reached in the drafting or filing process.

2. No Refund in Any Circumstance

Refunds will not be issued for any of the following reasons, including but not limited to:

• Change of mind after payment.
• The Expected Applicant withdrawing their threatened legal action.
• The matter being resolved before court filing.
• Dissatisfaction with the AI-generated draft (DIY plan).
• Delay in court filing due to court closures, holidays, or procedural reasons.
• Any outcome of the caveat proceedings in court.
• Duplicate payment — please contact us immediately if you believe a duplicate charge has occurred.

3. Platform Technical Failures

In the exceptional circumstance of a verified technical failure on our platform that entirely prevents delivery of the purchased service — for example, documents permanently inaccessible due to a server error — please contact us at sglawindia@gmail.com with your Case ID and a description of the issue. We will investigate and resolve the issue, which may include re-delivery of documents. Any resolution in such cases is at the sole discretion of FileCaveat and does not constitute a general right to a refund.

4. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us and allowing us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter will be treated as a breach of these terms. Such action may result in:

• Immediate suspension of your FileCaveat account.
• Termination of any pending service.
• Legal action to recover the disputed amount plus costs.

5. Cancellation Before Payment

You may withdraw your application at any time before making payment with no obligation and no charge. Once payment is made, the service is considered engaged and this refund policy applies in full.
